RRB JE 2025 (CEN 05/2025) is a centralized recruitment drive by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) to fill 2,585 Junior Engineer posts across Indian Railways. For Civil Engineering candidates, this is one of the highest-vacancy government exams of the year, with approximately 860–1,000 Civil engineering posts across 17+ railway zones and production units.
The selection is a two-stage CBT process. CBT-1 (General aptitude, 100 marks) has already been conducted. Shortlisted candidates now face CBT-2 (Technical + General, 150 marks) on 2 July 2026 — the decisive round that determines the final merit.
